We’ve recently released KMC Commander™ 3.0! In a series of blog posts, we’re going to take a look at a few of the new features and updates in 3.0. In this post, we’ll show some network and dashboard features.
- On the Dashboard, you can now view the BACnet priority array on editable setpoints. Select any writable setpoint on a card to open the menu. Click on the “Show Advanced” button to view the priority array. To clear a priority array, select the value’s priority level under “Write Priority” and click “Clear Selected.”
- Now you can use device profiles across similar models of KMC devices when setting up the network. Once the network devices are discovered, you can select device profiles for each. For example, a profile created for a KMC BAC-9001 VAV controller can also be used for similar a BAC-9001CE.
- With a licensed VVT zoning add-on, you can now auto-build your VVT system in the “Network Explorer.” This gives enhanced support for VVT retrofits with the BAC-120063CW-ZEC FlexStat™ unitary controller along with KMC SimplyVAV controllers for pressure-independent VAV control in their respective zones. The zoning discovery process provides an intuitive method of selecting desired controllers and automatically generates trends, alarms, and cards in a deck.
These are just a few of the new features and upgrades in KMC Commander 3.0. For more information on the platform, check it out on the web or watch the YouTube playlist. You can check out our previous blog on KMC Commander 3.0 and be sure to keep an eye out for more updates!
