STE-6018-10 | Sensor: Room Temp, Setpoint Dial, LED, Override, Modular, Almond
OVERVIEW | Sensor: Room Temp, Setpoint Dial, LED, Override, Modular, Almond
These compact, stylish, and economical room temperature sensors are designed for use with KMC digital controllers. They incorporate a 10,000 ohm (@ 77° F) thermistor for precise, stable temperature sensing. The durable, low-profile, thermostat-style cover is visually appealing. These sensors may be surface mounted on a hollow wall or (using an HMO-6036 universal backplate) to a 2 x 4 in. electrical box.
STE-6018 models include a rotary setpoint dial with warmer/cooler icons. Pushing the button on the front allows selection of an override condition. A green status LED can illuminate according to the user-defined controller configuration (e.g., during setback/setup or during normal/override modes).
They have an RJ-45 modular jack for quick connections. For connecting to KMC KMDigital controllers and KMC legacy BAC-58×1 and BAC-7xxx BACnet controllers, use a (custom) KMD-5693 (25 feet), KMD-5694 (50 feet), or KMD-5695 (75 feet) cable.
A four-pin EIA-485 (formerly RS-485) data port on the cover’s underside provides an easy temporary computer connection to the network, using a:
- BAC-5051E router and HPO-5551 router technicians cable for BACnet networks.
- KMD-5576 USB-to-485 converter for KMDigital networks.
NOTE: They are not compatible with KMC Conquest BAC-59xx and BAC-9xxx controllers. See the STE-6010/6014/6017 modular models or STE-6020 terminal models instead.
