JACE 8000

The JACE 8000 is a compact, embedded IoT (Internet of Things) controller and server platform for connecting multiple and diverse devices and sub-systems.

The KMN-JS-8000 from KMC Controls is designed as a Network Automation Controller optimized for BAS applications.

A JACE can be used with primary equipment such as chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs, water, and cooling towers as well as secondary equipment such as VAVs, FCUs, AHUs, RTUs, and heat pumps.

With Internet connectivity and web-serving capability, the KMN-JS-8000 controller provides integrated control, supervision, data logging, alarming, scheduling, and network management. It streams data and rich graphical displays to a standard web browser via an Ethernet or wireless LAN or remotely over the Internet.

JACE 9000

The JACE 9000 controller is a compact, embedded (IoT) controller and server platform for connecting multiple and diverse devices and sub-systems.

A JACE can be used with primary equipment such as chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs, water, and cooling towers as well as secondary equipment such as VAVs, FCUs, AHUs, RTUs, and heat pumps.

With Internet connectivity and web-serving capability, the KMN-J-934 from KMC Controls provides integrated control, supervision, data logging, alarming, scheduling, and network management. It streams data and rich graphical displays to a standard Web browser via an Ethernet or wireless LAN or remotely over the Internet.

Leveraging all the features of Niagara 4, the KMN-J-934 is fully compatible with existing expansion models and shares the same footprint as past models for seamless replacement in future updates.

Edge Equipment Controllers

The Niagara Edge 10 is an IP-based field equipment controller powered by the Niagara Framework. The Edge 10 drives secondary equipment control applications such as zone temperature control, fan coil unit operation, single-stage air handling units, water-source heat pumps, and more.

Like the JACE 8000 and JACE 9000, Edge 10 controllers incorporate internet connectivity, robust web serving capability, advanced integrated control, data logging, alarming, analytics and trending in a single, streamlined and cost-effective package. The Edge 10 can be used to economically address the challenge of extracting operational data from buildings without building management systems, such as small retail facilities and k-12 schools.

Niagara Software

Niagara software allows for flexible configuration, programming, and monitoring of Niagara hardware network components.

KMC Workbench is a Niagara 4-based software solution to serve small- to large-scale building automation systems. KMC Workbench provides the observer-level functions for a network of JACE, Niagara Edge and other field devices.

KMC Converge™ is comprised of multiple modules and provides KMC-specific functionality within the Niagara Workbench application with no need for additional software.

KMC Workbench is a Niagara 4-based software solution to serve small- to large-scale building automation systems.

KMC Workbench provides the observer-level functions for a network of JACE, Niagara Edge and other field devices. The module serves real-time graphical information to standard web-browser clients and performs essential functions such as analytics, centralized data logging/trending, archiving to external
databases, alarming, dashboarding, system navigation, master scheduling, database management and integration with other enterprise software applications.

To access KMC Workbench, download KMC Workbench N4 Supervisor from the web site and run the setup. This will provide the host ID to furnish to KMC Customer Service for activating the relevant Niagara 4 licenses.

KMC Converge is a collection of software modules used within Niagara to customize KMC BACnet field devices and deploy KMC’s applications library. This solution, compatible with Niagara 4, is ideal for configuring and programming hardware in any Niagara workbench environment.

KMC Converge works with any existing stand-alone or third-party Niagara workbench. So, with a simple add-on, you can have access to all of KMC’s configuration and deployment tools without the need for an additional workbench license.

KMC Workbench comes preloaded with KMC Converge modules and files.

Additional licensing is required for use with Niagara supervisors and JACE devices. KMC Workbench DEMO comes with these licenses; KMN-S-# and KMN-J parts require additional licensing. Requirements: License requires HOST ID.

KMC Commander logo for Niagra 4

The KMC Commander Gateway Service for Niagara allows for remote viewing and management of new and existing Niagara stations.

The service sends data securely to the KMC Commander Cloud allowing users to access their Niagara systems from KMC Commander’s easy-to-use and flexible user interface.

Niagara Cloud Suite

Niagara Cloud Suite is a scalable cloud-based solution that provides secure, remote building management services. This offering provides new integration, connection, and deployment capabilities, building on the current Tridium model of open and extensible integration with devices, services and applications.

Leveraging the Niagara Framework, Niagara Cloud Suite offers a trusted, secure source of building data that can be used with the analytics platforms that best meet a customer’s needs. Access secure storage of historical trend data and a centralized view of assets for improved reporting and analysis, remotely access, configure, and engineer Niagara systems all with Niagara Cloud Suite.

Niagra Remote logo against the backdrop of a city skyline

Niagara Remote is a service from the Niagara Cloud Suite that helps increase productivity for the user troubleshooting a deployment, doing regular engineering and maintenance work, or simply checking the status of all operations across a Niagara-based network via the graphical user interface. Niagara Remote enables quick issue identification, resolution and more responsive service

With Niagara Remote, you can access a Niagara Supervisor or JACE via a web browser, without the need for additional hardware, gateways or VPNs.

Niagra Recover logo against the backdrop of a city skyline

Niagara Recover helps Niagara Framework users safeguard their deployments from data loss by maintaining a current copy of Niagara station data in the event of a planned or unplanned outage that would otherwise interrupt operations and/or continuity of data collection.

With a Niagara Recover subscription, users can achieve seamless, secure and scalable backups of Niagara to the cloud and access backups at their convenience.

Niagra Data Service logo against the backdrop of a city skyline

Niagara Data Service extends API-based access to contextualized data aggregated by the Niagara Framework. Historical data that originates from on-premise control networks can be accessed via the Niagara Cloud management portal and APIs.

Niagara Data Service includes read-write APIs that can be programmed to remotely push changes in near real-time to Niagara supervisory control, just as an on-premises Supervisor might do in response to observed conditions.

Live Read and Write APIs empower developers to seamlessly integrate with the Niagara Cloud Suite platform in real time. Whether you’re building custom applications, automating workflows, or enhancing existing features, these APIs offer unparalleled flexibility and speed.
